John Roddy Loughton (born 17 August 1987) is a youth voice activist and former chairperson of the Scottish Youth Parliament who became prominent when he appeared on and won[1] the E4 reality show Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack in 2008.

Biography

As an individual and through the Scottish Youth Parliament, John is committed to improving the lives and rights for young people across the country as well as campaigning to highlight the injustices and inequalites that currently exist in society.

Biography

After attending Inchview Primary School, the majority of John's High School life was as Criagroyston Community High. He then went on to Study an Honours Degree in Politics and Sociology at the University of Stirling. However John chose to put his studies on hold in 2007 to focus on other things.

From North Edinburgh, John has committed his life to fighting for change and progress on a number of issues he believes passionately about. From a community and city level right through to a global level, John has racked up an extensive list of achievements, projects and events.
