Ismail Ahmed Ismail (born 10 September 1984) is a Sudanese runner who specializes in the 800 metres. He was born in Khartoum.
He reached the final in that event at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. He competed at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, where he won the silver medal in 800m.
He is the first Sudanese national to win an Olympic medal in history.
He is a member of the Fur people of Darfur.[1]
