Intelligence: Knowns and Unknowns is a report of a Task Force established by the Board of Scientific Affairs of the American Psychological Association. Originally released on August 7, 1995, an edited version was published in the American Psychologist in February 1996.

The task force was convened in response to claims about intelligence, especially race and intelligence, in the controversial book The Bell Curve. An earlier collective statement titled Mainstream Science on Intelligence had been published in the Wall Street Journal, supporting the book and its conclusions. Three of the 52 signatories on that statement were on the APA task force as well.
