Betsy Ross Flag. This was the first flag of the United States. Legend states it was created by Betsy Ross. The stars all face outward and represent a new constellation.

I created this image using historical descriptions (commonly known). Inkscape was used to create the SVG.
Warning: This image will not scale to 22px or smaller; it simply appears as a blank space (tested in Safari/MacOSX and Firefox/WinXP). For flag icon usage, scale it to 23px.
