In this Japanese name, the family name is Ichijō.

Ichijō Tadamasa (一条内政?) (1560-1580) supposedly not a retainer of any clan. Ichijō lived during the Sengoku Period of the 16th century to that of the Azuchi-Momoyama period of the 17th century. Ichijō was the son of Ichijo Kanesada. Following the death of his family of Ichijō, he then went on to marry the daughter of the famous leader of the Chosokabe clan Chosokabe Motochika. However, after defying the will of his father-in-law (who was currently Motochika), he was killed.
