Hancornia speciosa (syn. Echites glauca Roem. & Schult.) is a fruit, which is also a timber tree of Hancornia genus in the Apocynaceae family. This plant is native from Brazil, typically in Amazon Rainforest, Caatinga, and Cerrado vegetation. This plant is cited in Flora Brasiliensis by Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius. In addition, it is useful for beekeeping.
