Legislative elections were held in the Hellenic Republic on November 5, 1989 . At stake were 300 seats in the Greek parliament, the Voule.
The conservative New Democracy party of Constantine Mitsotakis , was elected, defeating the Panhellenic Socialist Movement (PASOK) of Andreas Papandreou .
