Glenn Ross (born 27 May 1971 in County Down, Northern Ireland) is a British International Strongman and Powerlifter who has represented Ireland and the UK in three World's Strongest Man competitions and various World Grand Prix and European Team competitions.
Strongman careerRoss was 3 Times UK Strongest Man (Ultimate Strength Challenge) - 2004, 2006, 2007 2 In 2003, Ross lifted three cars with the rear wheels completely off the ground, the combined weight including the frames of the three Citroen Saxos was almost 3 tonnes. Glenn's usual catchphrase during strongman competitions is "I think I'm having a massive heart attack!". This was actually thought to have been the case during a televised competition in 2004 when Glenn complained that he couldn't feel any sensation in his left arm after an unsuccessful lift. However this was later confirmed to have been brought on by a dense fatty deposit that had been dislodged during lifting, which was putting pressure on the network of nerves (brachial plexus) leading down the arm, numbing all sensation. Ross is also well known for using the catchphrase "Who's the daddy?!" SizeAlthough he is only 6'1" (1.83 m), he weighs 441 lb (36 stone, 200 kg)3 making him one of the heaviest strongmen in the world. His frame is emphasized by his body measurements; his neck is 24 inches, his biceps 24½ inches, his chest is 63 inches and his thighs are 35 inches, as well as a 50 inch waist.citation needed PersonalRoss has appeared on several TV shows, including Kelly Show, They Think It's All Over, The John Daley Show, Harry Hill's TV Burp, Celebrity Big Brother's Big Mouth and Hole In The Wall.
