Glenflagler Distillery, located in Airdrie was founded in 1964.

Distillation commenced on the 25 February 1965 with a sister malt whisky Killyloch being bonded at the same time.

Glenflagler was subsequently closed and demolished by Inver House Distillers Limited in July 1985.
