The station is on the A560 Gatley Road and has a car park. The ticket office and waiting room are located on the Manchester-bound platform and are open mornings only.
The station re-opened on 28 January2007 after reconstruction of the platforms. Work to replace the ramp access to both platforms is complete, and the car park is open again to the public.
