Günther von Mannagetta und Lërchenau Beck (born 25 August 1856 in Pressburg, modern Bratislava, died 23 June 1931 in Prague) was a prominent German botanist

He was a director of the department of botany of the Natural History Museum of Vienna and professor at the University of Vienna and German Charles-Ferdinand University in Prague between 1899 and 1921.

Beck directed the publication of Wiener Illustrierten Gartenzeitung and is the author of:

  • Flora von Niederösterreich (1890-1893)
  • Die Vegetationsverhältnisse der illyrischen Länder begreifend Südkroatien, die Quarnero-Inseln, Dalmatien, Bosnien und die Hercegovina, Montenegro, Nordalbanien, den Sandzak Novipazar und Serbien (1901)
  • Hilfsbuch für Pflanzensammler (1902)
  • Flora Bosne, Hercegovine i Novipazarskog Sandzaka (three volumes, 1903-1927)
  • Grundriß der Naturgeschichte des Pflanzenreiches, (1908)

He also contributed in Die natürlichen Pflanzenfamilien: Orobanchaceae (1895) editor for Heinrich Gustav Adolf Engler (1844-1930) and for Karl Anton Eugen Prantl (1849-1893).

Beck also attempted to revise the pitcher plant genus Nepenthes.
