Escape from Affluenza was a PBS 56 minute show from 1998, produced as a sequel to the 1997 show Affluenza. While the original concentrated on consumerism and materialism in modern society, the sequel focused on how to avoid this.1 It looked at stories of how to reduce debt, stress, time-pressure and possession-overload.2

The cast included Wanda Urbanksa as the host and Cecile Andrews, author of "Circle of Simplicity".3
