Emilie Bach (born Neuschloss, Bohemia, July 2, 1840; died Vienna April 29, 1890) was an artist and journalist. She was directress of the royal school for artistic embroidery, and published on this subject two works: Muster Stilvoller Handarbeiten für Schule und Haus in two volumes (Vienna), and Neue Muster im Alten Stil. She contributed to many daily papers, such as the Neue Freie Presse, Heimat, Wiener Allgemeine Zeitung etc., and delivered many lectures on arts and handicrafts, most of which were published.
