Divinity
Divinity is a nougat-like confectionery made with egg white, corn syrup, and sugar. Flavorings, chopped dried fruit and chopped nuts can also be used. Replacing the sugar with brown sugar, and adding a small amount of vinegar results in "sea foam", according to Irma S. Rombauer's The Joy of Cooking.
A popularly sold variant is pecan divinity.
