The Department of Human Services is an Australian Government department. Its role is to improve the delivery of social and health-related services to the Australian people. The department brings under one umbrella, six agencies which collectively deliver payments and services worth over $80 billion a year. The six agencies are:

• Centrelink
• Medicare Australia
• Child Support Agency
• CRS Australia
• Australian Hearing
• Health Services Australia

The current Minister for Human Services is Senator Joe Ludwig.
