Information
The parish is located in the northwestern part of the municipality and is linked with a road encircling the entire island. The area are hilly and mountainous in the southeast. Farmlands are within the parish as well as the road. Forests dominates the mountain areas. The Atlantic Ocean lies to the northwest. The Mount Pico is to the southeast.
The municipality is around 5 km long from north to south and varies up to as long as 1.5 km wide from east to west.
