Crater (also Kraytar) (Eng. [kɹeɪtə(r)] Ar. كريتر[kɾeːtəɾ]) is one of unofficial names of the oldest districts of the port city of Aden. Its official name - Seera. It is situated in a crater of an ancient volcano which forms Shamsan Mountains. Population 70,319 (1991)[-2008]
