Coordinates: 10°07′33″S 36°10′33″W / -10.12583, -36.17583 Coruripe is a municipality located in the southern coast of the Brazilian state of Alagoas. Its population is 44,272 (2005) and its area is 913 km²^[1]. It is situated at the edge of Coruripe river. It has some of the most attractive landscapes of southern Alagoas.
