Chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML) is a form of leukemia featuring monocytosis.[1]

It has traditionally been considered a type of myelodysplastic syndrome, but has recently been classified by the World Health Organization in a "myelodysplastic/myeloproliferative" category of medical conditions.[2][3]

Some distinguish between myelodysplastic and myeloproliferative forms of CMML.[4]
