Central Eastern Polynesian is a subgroup of the Eastern Polynesian languages consisting of 12 languages, all spoken on islands in the Pacific Ocean from Hawaii in the north to New Zealand and the Chathams in the south. Included in this group are Hawaiian, Marquesan, Tuamotuan, Tahitian and Māori.
