Cairnbaan is a village situated on the Crinan Canal, in Argyll and Bute, western Scotland. Cairnbaan is around halfway between the two ends of the canal, Ardrishaig and Crinan The name, from Scottish Gaelic, literally means "white hill". On the hill itself, there are cup and ring marks dating back to the Iron Age.

The village has a hotel that was built in the 18th century, and featured in the television series The Tales of Para Handy, based on the novels of Neil Munro.
