Clube Desportivo das Aves (pron . IPA : ['klub(ɨ) dɨʃpuɾ'tivu dɐʃ 'avɨʃ] Desportivo das Aves , is a Portuguese football club from Vila das Aves . It currently plays in the second tier Liga Vitalis , after finishing last in the 2006/2007 BWINLIGA season.
The club's official supporters groups is the Força Avense .
Stadium Desportivo das Aves play at the Estádio do Clube Desportivo das Aves in Vila das Aves , Santo Tirso , Portugal . The stadium was inaugarated in 1987 and is considered one of the best maintained in Europe . The Stadium currently seats 7000 spectators.
Due to its small seating capacity, games at this Stadium can be very intense with fan groups like Força Avense , which are very passionate about the team, and whose chants can be heard throughout the stadium.
Sports Club The Club also has football schools for Junior players and two futsal teams in both Men and Women as well as a very successful footballing trial system.
