The large village and civil parish of Boxley in the Maidstone District of Kent, England lies below the slope of the North Downs, four miles (6.4km) NE of Maidstone town. The parish has a population of 7144 (2001 census), and includes the settlements of Boxley itself, Grove Green, most of Weavering Street, Sandling, and the southern extremities of Walderslade and Lordswood at the top of Blue Bell Hill.
Despite being so close to Maidstone and two motorways, the village is surrounded by woodland, and still retains the village feel. The ruins of Boxley Abbey are located here. The parish church is dedicated to All Saints.
David Hool manages Boxley FC the local football team who are the current champions of the Maidstone and Mid Kent Sunday Football League Division 2. Star Striker Craig Russell has been top scorer in the league for the past 3 seasons, whilst Jon Gubbins and Ashley Russell are the current Players of the year.
