Blyth Valley (formerly known as Blyth) is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election. The constituency was established in 1950 as "Blyth", and renamed in 1983.
BoundariesThe constituency is based around the borough of Blyth Valley, with Blyth as its main town. Boundary reviewFollowing their review of parliamentary representation in Northumberland, the Boundary Commission for England has made only minor changes to the existing constituencies in the region.
