Plot
A recent rash of killings in the small city of Franklin, Pennsylvania brings Mulder to profile the murderers — a task made more difficult by the fact that none of them had any previous history of violence and all died at the end of their berserk rages. The only clues he has are some destroyed electronics and an unknown organic substance.

- Origin of Idea: Glen Morgan to his brother Darin: "Do something about a post office." Glen Morgan saw a 20/20 about DDT in the 1950s and Chris Carter wanted to do something about digital readouts.
