Wendland ex Kerch, Palma maripa Aubl.) is a palm native to Amazon Rainforest. This plant has a yellow edible fruit which is oblong ovoid and cream. It grows up 30 m high and can have leaves or fronds 10-12 m long and has a large inflorescense which is interfoliar.
