The Associate of Science (A.S.) is a two-year undergraduate degree offered by many community colleges or junior colleges in the United States. Such a degree transfers to four-year institutions which offer full Bachelor of Science degrees.
A student normally completes at least forty-eight semester hours, although most likely sixty hours, with an average of 2.0 or better to obtain an associate's degree.
