Aralidium is the only genus of the plant family Aralidiaceae. It includes the single species Aralidium pinnatifidum, a small tree or shrub distributed in southeastern Asia, Malaysia, and Indonesia. It possesses characters in common with both the Araliaceae and Cornaceae. The genus Aralidium was placed in the family Cornaceae in the Cronquist system, but the separate family Aralidiaceae is accepted under the APG II system.
