Ano Syros (Άνω Σύρος) is a municipality on the island of Syros, in the Cyclades, Greece. An uninhabited part of the municipality is also on Gyaros Island, lying to the northwest of Syros. Another uninhabited island is Varvaroúsa Island. Population 3,376 (2001 census); land area 67.014 km². The municipality shares the island of Sýros with the Municipality of Ermoupoli and the Community of Poseidonia.
