Anders Gustaf Ekeberg (Stockholm, Sweden, January 16, 1767 – Uppsala, Sweden, February 11, 1813) was a Swedish chemist who discovered tantalum in 1802. A childhood illness left him partially deaf and an accident where a flask exploded took the sight of one eye.
