Ambemohar is a kind of rice known from the state of Maharashtra in India. The short cooked grains have a tendency to break easily and stick together. It is known in Maharashtra due to its strong fragrance reminiscent of mango blossoms when cooked. It is also associated with a Surti kolam variety north in Gujarat, who prefer the rice due to its prepared softness & easy chewability.
