Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier is a brand of beer produced by the Brauerei Heller (although it's almost universally known as Schlenkerla) in Bamberg. Each variety has a smoky aroma and flavor, varying in intensity from one style to the next. There are three varieties: Urbock, Märzen and a wheat beer.
The brewery also brews a Helles beer, which it names simply Schlenkerla Lager 1. This beer is not smoked and is currently sold for export to the American market.
