A Man Apart is a 2003 action film starring Vin Diesel and Larenz Tate and directed by F. Gary Gray.
PlotSean Vetter (Vin Diesel) and Demetrius Hicks (Larenz Tate), who are ex-thugs, are members of the US DEA working on the California/Mexico border. After arresting a drug baron named "Memo" Lucero (Geno Silva), the mysterious "Diablo" steps in and organizes the assassination of Vetter, but his wife, Stacy (Jacqueline Obradors), is killed instead. Looking for revenge, Vetter acts outside the law to punish his wife's murderers. To accomplish that, he asks Memo, who's now in prison, for help finding Diablo. With Hicks' help, he hunts every member of the cartel from the bottom to the top of the organization's hierarchy and finds that "Memo" is linked to the recent activities. ReactionCritical reaction has been extremely poor. As of December 7, 2007, A Man Apart has earned an 9% critic rating on Rottentomatoes and a 10% rating on Cream Cop [1], It has a 5.7/10 on IMDB. Many reviewers cite for a poor script, and bad directing. It is the 99th worst-reviewed film of all time next to Catwoman which is #100 and Norbit which is #98 [2]. Soundtrack
