The 1964 FA Cup Final was contested by West Ham United and Preston North End at Wembley. West Ham won 3–2, with goals from John Sissons, Geoff Hurst and Ron Boyce. Doug Holden and Alex Dawson scored Preston's goals.

At the time, Preston's Howard Kendall was the youngest player ever to play in an FA Cup Final, aged 17 years 345 days.
